The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

I ran into this link and it is a great example of the DCS of women and men and how that is portrayed on television. As it says in the article, "Meehan has shown how on TV, 'good' women are presented as submissive, sensitive and domesticated; 'bad' women are rebellious, independent and selfish. The 'dream-girl' stereotype is gentle, demure, sensitive, submissive, non-competitive, sweet- natured and dependent. The male hero tends to be physically strong, aggressive, assertive, takes the initiative, is independent, competitive and ambitious. " Interesting, but I don't see that women/men need to be supportive to each other... remember no breaking up at bad times! haha, Enjoy!

Faking Orgasms....

I found this article in relation to our "faking orgasms" topic mentioned in class. It has some interesting facts and thoughts on it! It also talks about how women fake it more when they're with someone they really love, which ties back to class on Wednesday in talking about how the woman wants to make the man feel like he's "done his job." Enjoy!:)
